Overview #
To add an item to the transaction log, simply scan the item’s UPC code. This action will “ring up” the item, logging it into the transaction.
Note: You can also enter item UPC numbers manually if scanning is not an option. If the entered UPC does not exist in the system, you will be prompted to confirm whether you want to add this as a new item.
Scan Item #
Start scanning items by positioning the barcode toward the barcode scanner.
Item Cart #
Scanned items will appear on the cash register screen.
Adjust Quantity #
To adjust the quantity of an item, select the “+” or “-” buttons beside the item name to increase or decrease its quantity.
Enter Quantity Number Manually #
You can also press the Item Quantity Number to enter the quantity manually.
Input Quantity #
Input your new item Quantity value.
Select Enter #
Click enter to save the changes.
New Item Quantity #
Your new item Quantity will appear on the screen.
