Overview #

The Item Sales Tax feature allows the Sales Tax to be manually adjusted for an item once it has been added to a transaction.

Note: Changing the tax of an item from the transaction log is a one-time modification and will not alter the tax settings associated with the item in the system.

Scan an Item #

Scan an item into the transaction log.

Select Tax Under the Item Price #

Select Tax under the item price in the transaction log.

Popup Will Appear #

A popup will appear with the list of all Taxes in your store.

Select the Tax You Wish to Apply #

Select the Tax you wish to apply to the selected item.

Select Apply to Change #

Select Apply to change the Tax of the item in the transaction.

Successfully Changed Item Sales Tax #

Once applied, the item will now appear with the changed Tax value.
